Life Walk Part Two:

INSTRUCTIONS: Go back through your Life Walk and identify any patterns - usually there are 3- 6 patterns we tend to repeat in life.

Step One: Go through Life Walk and identify patterns you see you repeat (3-6).

Step Two: List each pattern out.

Step Three: Go over patterns with Coach (1:1) or Wellness Partner (group coach)

Example:

  1. One of mine was turning to things to numb when life got hard, which lead to horrible decision making and repeated cycle of bad relationships, financial stress, resentment, and huge amount of shame, guilt, and total loss of respect for myself.

2. Another pattern of mine, especially in my drinking years was the lack of responsibility. I had a difficult time taking responsibility for my life. I often blamed or found fault in others instead of paying attention to my own responsibility and the many areas I could control.

3. A third one for me was I had horrible communication skills. I was frightened to speak up and didn't feel I had the proper skills to communicate. My lack of communication lead to a lot of self destruction and heartbreak. It also lead to me taking on a victim mentality.
